Nathanael is an Ontario based filmmaker with a passion for telling stories that challenge perspectives. Born in Toronto, he later moved to Vancouver where he studied film production at VFS from which he graduated in 2012.
His most recent film Shiraz, inspired by his own journey to Iran in 2014 was filmed in both Iran and Vancouver. It was screened at the Vancouver Short Film Festival and the Emerging Lens Cultural Film Festival in 2018. He believes that the most engaging stories not only entertain but also challenge ourselves as audiences to re-frame the perceptions of the others with whom we come into contact in the world around us.
He is currently directing a feature length documentary film called Broken Courage.
